About Us

Our Story

At LTA Manufacturing, our story is built on the strength of respected truck cap and cover brands with decades of experience serving truck owners, dealers, fleets, and outdoor enthusiasts. Jason Truck Caps began in 1972 in Elkhart, Indiana, building a long-standing reputation for durable, high-quality truck caps and canopies. Ranch Fiberglass followed in 1986, also rooted in Elkhart, with a focus on fiberglass truck caps, lids, tonneau covers, strong fit and finish, and dependable craftsmanship. In 1994, ATC Truck Covers was established in Garnett, Kansas, bringing its own commitment to practical design, reliable performance, and American-made manufacturing.

In 2017, these trusted brands came together under LTA Manufacturing, creating one stronger portfolio with a shared commitment to quality, innovation, service, and customer support. By bringing Jason, Ranch, and ATC together, LTA built a broader platform to serve dealers and customers across the truck accessories market while preserving the products, craftsmanship, and brand legacies that made each name trusted in the first place. In 2023, Venturous Truck Tops joined the LTA Manufacturing portfolio, adding a new generation of truck-top solutions built around advanced materials, modern design, and forward-looking innovation.

As we look to the future, LTA Manufacturing is preparing for the next chapter of that story. In the Fall of 2026, our brands and corporate name will transition into one unified name: Venturous Truck Tops. This change is designed to make our brand simpler, stronger, and easier for customers to recognize, while giving dealers one clear story to share in the marketplace. The products and models our customers know are not going away — everything stays the same, including the same models, same quality, same fitment, same team, same support, and same warranty coverage. We are simply bringing everything together under one brand built to carry our legacy forward: Venturous Truck Tops.

Our past is grounded in trusted names. Our future is focused on one unified brand, one stronger customer experience, and the same commitment to building truck tops and accessories that work as hard as the people who use them.

Part of the DeBruce Companies

LTA Manufacturing, soon to become Venturous Truck Tops, is proud to be part of the DeBruce Companies, a family of businesses committed to building strong companies while also advancing meaningful work beyond the marketplace. Through this relationship, a portion of every truck cap sale helps fund the DeBruce Foundation, supporting its mission to empower people as they choose, change, or advance their careers.

Founded in 1988, the DeBruce Foundation focuses on expanding pathways to economic growth and helping build a stronger workforce. Its work supports students, veterans, justice-involved individuals, and others navigating important career decisions by helping bridge the gap between individual opportunity and industry needs. Over the last decade, the DeBruce Companies have supported more than $150 million in charitable giving, helping create greater access to tools, resources, and opportunities that can change lives.

Every cap we build represents more than quality, craftsmanship, and innovation. It also contributes to a larger purpose: helping fund work that expands opportunity, strengthens communities, and supports people as they move toward meaningful careers and brighter futures.
